Our Tandoori Masala Mix is a blend of specific ground spices selected to give meat or vegetables a deep rich flavour. Traditionally in India the food is cooked in tandoor or clay oven after being Marinaded in the aromatic spice. Masalawaala helps you create delicious tandoori dishes at home with ease.

All you need:

  • 1kg Your favourite protein (e.g. Chicken/Paneer/Fish/Seafood) or Vegetables

  • 200g Plain yoghurt*

  • Masalawaala Tandoori Mix (50g)

*can substitute with non dairy alternative

3 Simple steps:

  1. Make the marinade by adding Masalawaala Tandoori Mix & yogurt in a bowl.

  2. Coat your choose protein/veg with the marinade for at least 15 minutes

  3. Place your marinaded ingredients onto an ovenproof tray and cook in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 200 ºC / 180ºC Fan turning occasionally. Alternatively, cook under the grill or on the BBQ.

    Garnish with a handful of fresh coriander and some lemon wedges when serving

Our tips:

Add 2tsp of ginger & garlic paste (or fresh ginger & garlic) to the marinade for a more aromatic taste.

Try using hung curd by hanging the yogurt in a cotton cloth to remove water  for 10 minutes before making the marinade.

For extra zest, add some chopped onions, peppers and lemon juice to the marinade.

Why not use it as a rub? Simply mix this pack with some oil and rub it onto your favourite protein.
