Ingredients
  • Onion, Cashew Nuts, Sugar, Salt, Coriander, Chjilli, Garlic, Corn Starch, Ginger, Cumin,
  • Black Pepper, Turmeric, Clove, Cassia, Bayleaf, Green Cardamom, Black Cardamom,
  • Mint Leaves, Dry Fenugreek Leaves.

All you need:

  • 350g chopped protein/vegetables ( eg. Paneer/Tofu/Chicken)

  • Masalawala Jalfrezi Mix (50g)

  • 150g fresh tomatoes purred or passata

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 100g chopped peppers

  • 50g chopped onions

  • 300ml water

  • 2tbsp ginger garlic paste (Optional)

3 Simple Steps:

  1. Make a paste of Masalawala  Jalfrezi Mix with 100ml water.

  2. In a pan heat oil, add pureed tomatoes and cook for 4-5minutes. Add the prepared paste (and ginger garlic paste if using)and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add mixed peppers and onions and cook for further 2-3 minutes.

  3. Add remaining water, your protein/vegetables and then simmer for 5-6 minutes until the curry thicken.

Our Tips:

Marinade your chosen protein/vegetable in a ginger – garlic paste for a more aromatic flavour.

Grill the onions and peppers before adding to get a distinctive smoky taste and some heat with fresh green chillies.

Try adding kasoori methi ( dried fenugreek leaves) for a bolder taste
